Two Mike’s Plumbing & Heating knows it is vital to keep your family and pets safe during this unprecedented time of social distancing. We also know that with more time at home, comes more use of your plumbing and HVAC systems. Meaning service, maintenance, and repairs can’t wait for the curve to flatten and COVID-19 to diminish.

Your family will be relying on plumbing, heating, and air-conditioning for comfort, now, more than ever. In addition to the safety guidelines set forth by the CDC, such as keeping 6-feet from you and performing additional cleaning of all of our trucks and equipment, we are implementing our own extra measures for your protection and for the protection of our team and their families.

When we come to your home, please expect the following:
  • When our crews knock on your door, they will be wearing gloves and will step back the recommended six feet before speaking with you.
  • They will not shake your hand.
  • Our crews will stay 6 feet away from you and your family members as much as the configuration of your building allows.
  • Our crews will wear self-protective gear the entire time they are in your home or business. This includes gloves and a mask.
  • Our crews will avoid touching anything they don’t have to touch while on your property.
  • Our crews will not provide you with any paperwork or other item that requires a hand-to-hand transfer but will instead provide digital estimates and invoices through email or other requested means.
  • All payments will be completed digitally, by phone, or with a self-serve card reader that will be disinfected between every use, to again avoid all hand-to-hand transfers.
  • Upon leaving your property, our team will use a disinfectant wipe on all services they came in contact with as they exit the property.

Our team is happy to accommodate special requests to ease your anxieties and make you more comfortable with our service. When you call to make an appointment, 810-624-2343 please ask for any additional precautions you would like us to take on your behalf.

No one who is ill or who has come in contact with someone who is ill will be allowed to work until the appropriate incubation period has passed. We also ask that if you have come in contact with someone who is ill or you are ill yourself, you inform us of that ahead of time. We will take these appointments on a case-by-case basis, depending on the urgency of the issue.

Thank you for keeping in mind the safety of your customers. Many businesses now are starting to operate again, even though there is still a pandemic. This is inevitable because they need to open their business to get back their source of income. However, some of them are not practicing safety protocols. They are putting their customers in danger. I hope they will follow your example and make sure that the safety of customers is being considered, so that no one will be infected by the coronavirus.

Never skip your HVAC System periodic checkup. This is to ensure that your HVAC is working efficiently and to prevent breakdowns that will lead to costly repairs. Another reason for a checkup is to extend the HVAC system's lifespan.

Having faulty plumbing is one of the most challenging circumstances that you can face at home. There are different kinds of plumbing issues that can come up - clogged drains, leaky faucets and sewer damages. These are serious plumbing issues that have to be tended to before they worsen.

I wasn't aware that protective gear was so important for working on pipes. I need to get the pipes in my bathroom looked at for leaks. I think there is a leak in the guest bathroom that is making puddles.
